Torrent Vaccine is an electronic solo operation out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, brought to life by Brad Vaccine after moving there in 1998. Growing up in rural Louisiana, Brad was continuously searching for ways to pass the time – this eventually led to an interest in music and writing his own was a natural progression. Without committing to a defined style, Torrent Vaccine has left room to expand into different scenes while still maintaining the idea of ‘industrial’ music and his individualism.
Combining elektro-industrial, aggressive coldwave, melodic EBM and splatterings of power noise with experimental and drum-n-bass, Diverje is a band built for the future – unpredictable-sounding and off-centered from the more “popular, and watered down electronica” that we mostly hear as the mainstream ‘representative’ for electronic music in America.
Born and living in Lower Normandy, Vincent Gouf started walking down the artistic path from an very young age. Passionate about comics, he slowly turned his aspirations to painting and later to animation and music under the name of ‘Lingouf’, and has released several albums to critical acclaim – most recently through the German cult experimental music label Ant-Zen.
